The hydrangea is a shrub or climbing plant with round or flat heads with little flowers on top. It is native to America and Asia and there are more than 70 species of this shrub. The flowers of the hydrangea plant come in the colors of white, purple, blue, pink and red. These flowering shrubs are thirsty plants produced from early spring to late autumn. Wooden stove!

Image
Before electric stoves were introduced in the late nineteenth century, food was made with wooden pots and utensils, like given in the picture. The first fully enclosed stove was made in the year 1735 by Françios Cuvillés, but before that, people used to cook their meals upon an open stove. I envy the people who cook on these type of stoves because think of all the fun they must be having. They don't have to worry about gas leaks or anything of the sort.

Stress

Today's topic is going to be a bit more deep than usual because I am going to be discussing about stress which is a very common problem in many people. I am also having a bit of stress nowadays in coping with all the exams and school work to cover. Although, I am not able to complete all my work in one day, now I realise that it is completely normal for everyone. Because at the end of the day, we're human and everyone deserves a break. Don't you think?

Cake!!

Image
Cake is one of my favorite desserts to have after an exhausting day. Although cake may seem like a simple dessert, there are many interesting facts about this addictive dessert. For example, the start of the use of the term birthday cake was in 1785 and the first versions of cake has a more bread like to taste and looked like hard compact discs. Interesting, huh? But to be honest, I prefer the more recent version of cakes, but other people may have their own opinions.

Mysterious cloud!!

Image
For me, this cloud looks like a giant tornado forming in the sky. In my entire life, I have never seen such a mysterious and scary cloud. Luckily, a tornado was not formed, but if it had...then everything would have been completely catastrophic. This picture reminds me to always look at the big and little things in life and be thankful for them because as I was saying earlier, it would've been horrible if there was an actual tornado occurred at that moment. And just look at how beautiful this picture is! It looks like some shiny blue mist is coming out of the middle of the cloud. Thank you Mother Nature for giving me the marvelous opportunity to look at this beautiful landscape.

Tulsi plant!!

Image
The Tulsi is considered a holy plant in Hindu mythology because of its connection with Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. It is also said that this is a form of Tulasi, an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu. Tulsi also has connection with Vishnu because He (in form of Shaligram) married Tulasi in her plant form in her next life. It is said that this plant is a must in the household of those who want to live a prosperous and peaceful life. A holy prayer says that the Tulsi plant has Lord Brahma in its branches, the Vedas (sacred Hindu scripture) in its lower branches, all of the other gods and goddesses in its stem and the river Ganga running through its roots along with the center of all Hindu pilgrimage. And according to ancient scripts, the Tulsi is thought of as a gateway between heaven and earth.
