Post-diwali pollution

After Diwali, it is seen that there is a lot of pollution and most people think that it is because of the fact that people burn firecrackers on Diwali when in reality, that is not the only reason. Another huge reason for post Diwali pollution is because of people burning their rice fields. When only thes stock of rice is left, farmers burn them down, leading to pollution. And sometimes, there can be severe pollution. It can get so polluted that once in school we opened a few windows for ventilation, but everything looked hazy. At first, I thought that it was becausey glasses may be dirty, but in reality, it was actually the polluted smog that came in the classroom. There is so much pollution just because of this reason. The air gets so polluted that if you have no eye protection outside, then your eyes can start burning and they will get all watery and stingy. The feeling is indescribable. Although this may seem like a little issue, it has a lot of disadvantages that are not good for the environment or your health.
