Goddess Radha
Radha is a Hindu goddess who is described as Lord Krishna's lover and the head of the gopis (milkmaids) during Their childhood days in Vrindavan. She was born in Barsana to Vrishabhanu and Kirtida. Radha is worshipped as the goddess of love, compassion, tenderness and devotion. She is a manifestation of the Goddess Lakshmi and is seen as the prime consort of Lord Krishna. Additionally, she is also said to be Krishna's female form. Radha and Krishna are therefore inseparable and hence Goddess Radha accompanies Krishna in all of His lifetimes.
During Radha and Krishna's childhood days in Vrindavan, it is said that they both used to meet in it's vast forests and dance throughout the night. Radha is described as a beautiful and attractive maiden whose heart only belonged to Krishna. Despite their true love for each other, they didn't marry each other because of a curse that separated them for 100 years. But this is a highly debated topic as it is also said that Radha and Krishna did indeed marry each other in the presence of Lord Brahma in the Bhandirvan forest.
Although Radha and Krishna may not be on Earth right now, both of Them still live on everyone's hearts. Their love has left a long lasting impression on the world and their love for each other will never be forgotten.
Radhe Radhe!
