Happy New Year!

Oh, how magnificent is He!
Righteousness's very epitome
The hidden treasure of Vrindavan and Mathura
Our dear Krishna
He has a complexion that's as dark as night
Yet He has an aura
That's as radiant as sunlight
Everyone recognises Him
By the peacock feathers adorning His head
And He enchants galaxies
With the smell of His flower garlands

Oh, how magnificent is He!
Righteousness's very epitome
The hidden treasure of Vrindavan and Mathura
Our dear Krishna
How beautiful He looks with His lotus like eyes
And how royal He seems
In each one of His strides
Oh, how peaceful He looks
When wearing His yellow robes
Decorating Himself
With gem studded earrings hanging from His earlobes
How can one look so graceful with just a smile
Well, only Krishna for whose smile is as bright as moonlight
He may only be in His youth
With plump bright cheeks
But His words and doings hide unspoken truths
That shakes all the realms three

Oh, how magnificent is He!
Righteousness's very epitome
The hidden treasure of Vrindavan and Mathura
Our dear Krishna
How innocent He seems
With lips painted the color of the juice of the reddest berries
Oh, how selfless is He!
To look after everyone else except Himself
In this galaxy
The beautiful blue Krishna
Can mesmerize anyone in the room
By the magical tunes
Of His wooden flute
Our Madhav, son of Nand Baba and Yashoda
Grazes cows in the forests under the sun
And with moonrise, He dances with His Radha
And how godly is our Krishna
Whose very feet at birth
Were touched by the holy river Yamuna!

Oh, how magnificent is He!
Righteousness's very epitome
The hidden treasure of Vrindavan and Mathura
Our dear Krishna

Happy New Year everyone!
