Oh, How Time Flies..

 Everyone starts their journey in the world as a little fragile being, susceptible to almost everything. And this small living thing, a tiny baby, doesn't know anything. They have just started a new life in this confusing new world, now into the hands of destiny, who shall be their guide throughout this tiresome journey. 
Well, once upon a time, we were that little befuddled baby. Look at us now. We are still braving the eternal storms life throws our way. It has been years. We may have reached or crosses the stage of life where we begin to ponder about whether our existence is even of any use. We wonder why we are even here, even though we often don't want to. We frantically try to search the answer to this universal question. 
Now ask yourself something. How long have you been trying to find the answer to this question? Most probably, you have spent a majority of your important time trying to find how you are of any use to this universe. Why do we need such an answer? If we're of no use, then we wouldn't have been alive in the first place. We often waste a lot of valuable time trying to find answers to the infinite tests of life. This valuable time will never come back. No matter how long or hard you try.
You could be the richest person to ever exist in the universe and not even a penny of yours could buy a nanosecond of time. 
That is the reality of how valuable time is. And when we actually realise the importance of time, it's gone. All that precious time you seemingly had in your hands just vanishes. Time has moved on, life has moved on, destiny has moved on, but alas, we are still stuck in the past. We start to long for the good old days when we actually had time and regret the fact that we didn't enjoy it.
But all this regret will do nothing. We can't wind back time. Once it is gone, there's nothing that can be done about it. This regret and reminiscence will last years and those years will only add on with each day. So enjoy everything that you have to the fullest. 
Because time flies by very quickly and you won't even realise where all those years were lost.

Feeling overwhelmed is a feeling we may feel constantly in life. As we grow older, our responsibilities increase drastically. And we can't always cope up with that, which may not always feel acceptable to us because of our inner mind telling us that we aren't doing enough. So, we keep pushing ourselves to go further. This tiny endless cycle keeps on going until we can't find the motivation to push ourselves anymore. Then what do we do? Getting more overwhelmed is something that happens to us unconsciously in these types of situations. But that's not the right approach to problems like these.  Instead, look outside your window and remind yourself of something that you are thankful for in your life. It doesn't need to be anything big and robust. Even if it's a small detail, it doesn't matter as long as you are satisfied. Remember and immerse yourself in that detail. Society is the world's biggest and most feared judge. Everyone wants to be loved by other people and feel like they belong in this world. But society's absurd 'rules and regulations' have their dreams crushed. The public has created their own ideal 'perfect person with a perfect personality' that every one strives to be, so that they can feel wanted and accepted. But in the midst of trying to be that perfect person, we lose ourselves. We lose our true personality that used to define us.  Maybe we might not be society's favourite.
