Misunderstanding: Finding Your Own Sun In A Snowstorm

Imagine the world was kind and peaceful. Where there was no stress and every day was like walking through a spring flower garden in suburban Italy. Everywhere you went, you were met with smiles. Imagine a place where there were no wars, and everyones' emotions were validated. I was thinking about this while staring at the gusty and cloudy weather through my bedroom window. Why can't the world be like this? Why do people have to go through so much pain and stress in their daily lives? It's a complex question with a medley of different answers. It took a few minutes to get a satisfactory answer: it is because people are misunderstood. This again got me questioning as to why people are misunderstood. Now that was something more complex. It took more time to answer than the previous question, but eventually I reached an answer that made sense.  On exploring new things and ventures, people crave for a sense of reassurance and validation. Embracing The Ups And Downs Of New Beginnings

Starting something new is difficult. It makes you feel like you are stepping onto a new plethora of emotions that are novice to you. You feel excited and nervous. But in one way, it is kind of painful.  Because you are leaving your comfort zone to start anew, and you don't even know what will happen to you.  It's like you left everything that you have ever known just because you felt that a change would benefit you. Sometimes this decision makes you smile bittersweetly, sometimes you cry about it and other times you are proud of what you have done. All of these feelings are not easy to process, especially in a new environment. If you do not feel this way on doing something new, I would like to kindly advise you to consider truthfully introspecting yourself once again. If your feelings remain unchanged, then you are either quite mentally strong or you are not starting afresh.  But if you do feel this way, then do not feel guilty about it.
